The How of Car Washing - How to operate & grow a carwashing business.

The How of Car Washing is a podcast for car wash business owners, operators and managers. If you are looking for actionable advice, tips and techniques to help you operate and grow your carwashing business, this is the podcast show for you! In each episode we either discuss a business topic, or we interview another owner/operator or a carwash industry professional. Our episodes are typically 35 to 45 minutes in length, and the show is hosted by David Begin and Henry Lopez who share the knowledge and experience they have acquired over their corporate and business ownership careers. New episodes are released on Wednesday mornings, and we always strive to deliver value to entrepreneurs, business owners, operators and managers in the car wash industry.

Claire Moore, Chief Content Officer of the International Car Wash Association (ICA) talks with David Begin about the recent Women Leadership Experience, held this past November in Chicago. Claire discussed the topics and presentations of the event and how carwash owners and managers should consider the unique advantages that women bring to the marketplace and to your carwash operation.  She also touches upon the exciting changes made to the upcoming Car Wash Show to be held in Nashville TN on May 13th-15th 2019.

What is the foundation for a good preventive maintenance program? David gives a “Quick Talk” discussion at the 2019 Southwest car wash show in Arlington Tx. David discusses the importance of the everyday task list that carwash employees use to inspect, adjust and tune equipment so that we minimize the number of unexcepted equipment repairs and replacements that sap carwash uptime and maintenance expenses. David also talks about the art of troubleshooting and offers some tips your team can use to troubleshoot equipment problems effectively.
